Choochoos
I'm going to do what I've been saying I'd do for ages and make a CD all of songs about trains... because they're great. Here's what I've got so far:
- Johnny Cash - Orange Blossom Special
- The Monkees - Last Train To Clarksville
- Arlo Guthrie - City of New Orleans
- Creedence Clearwater Revival - The Midnight Special
- Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express (Noel will be impressed)
- Guy Clark - Texas 1947
- Box Car Willie - Wabash Cannonball
If anyone suggests that Runaway Train song - I'm not talking to them again.. evar.

'G' is for Gyp
There was an old man in a Hiace
He challenged me to go for a ray-ace
I acted the coward,
said "my car's underpowered"
So he told me he'd brea-ak my fay-ace

Shakey's Songbook
This Ole House
(Ain't a-gonna need this house no longer)
(Ain't a-gonna need this house no more)
Ain't got time to fix the shingles
Ain't a-got time to fix the floor
Ain't got time to oil the hinges
Nor to mend no windowpane
Ain't a-gonna need this house no longer
She's a-gettin' ready to meet the saints
This ole house is gettin' shaky
This ole house is gettin' old
This ole house lets in the rain
This ole house lets in the cold
On my knees I'm gettin' chilly
But I feel no fear nor pain
'Cause I see an angel peekin'
Through the broken windowpane

Are we going to Addis Ababa, Mr. Luthor?
I've just received a provisional copy of the cast list from the upcoming production of Superman: The Musical, by the Ardmore Dramatical Society. It is as follows...
- Clark Kent: Michael O'Reilly (wearing glasses)
- Jimmy Olsen: Festy Baker
- Jor-El: Pablo
- Kal-El: Mor-El
- Lex Luthor: Bondey
- Otis: Sean O'Neill
- Perry White: Ed O'Neill
- Superman: Michael O'Reilly (not wearing glasses)
- Window Twankey: Onde Baker
Lex Luthor : Otis, is that the newspaper I asked you to get me?
Otis : Yeah.
Lex Luthor : Why am I not reading it?
Otis : [thinks for a second] 'Cause I haven't given it to you yet?
Lex Luthor : [smiles] Right...
[snatches the newspaper from Otis' hand]
