Willy Wonka & the Football Factory

The third round draw for tickets for the world cup was on today.

6 million applicants for 300,000 tickets gives me a 20/1 shot.

More of a Mrs. Bucket chance than a Charlie Bucket chance.

Slope Dodger

Bin Laden
We couldn't end the week without a look at "Bin Laden on Skis" in action. It's like Disney on Ice - but for bad guys.

Faster than a Skiing Mullet

Race results
These are the results of the big race from last Friday. The peoples' champion meadled in gold place once again. Richie will count himself unlucky in second place and Fr. Ted ("hang on I can do this bit") will have to improve on his 8th place if he is to have any chance of making the world championships.

Apres Ski-holiday

Just got back from Livigno last night. A great time was had by all both in terms of the skiing and the boozing.

Heading Orf Skiing

This is where we'll all be staying next week on our trip to the 1970's.

First ski joke of the season:
Q. How many ski instructors does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A. Nine. One to screw in the light bulb and 8 to say nice turns!

Would you like some mayonnaise?

Just got back from Amsterdam late last night. A good time was had by all, as expected.

I didn't take many photos, because it was very cold and I was drunk; like Gash (pictured). I will have to make a bigger effort with the camera on my next short-European-break. Hopefully some of the others will let me borrow their photos for here (hint, hint).
