I'm not the only one!

See #10!

This may, or may not, have contributed to my dismal showing in the half-marathon on Sunday.

Connemaraslog!

The Connemarathon results have been posted here(pdf).

Buffer, Beavis, McMorland and Keith [Model] are all to be found in the first 2 pages. Well done lads.

Gash and I are on the last page. I came 1146th! That's in the last 5%, and that includes walkers (as in - people who had intended to walk all along)!

I'm not proud, but in our defense, Gash broke (as in fractured) his foot.

Next year we are provisionally to be joined by Billy and Tom.

And the award goes to...

I'm awarding the inaugural "Seanín Award for excellence in the field of ineptitude in business" to GLS. A close second were their partners in the UK Parcelforce.

"We gave it the full gun this year, and are delighted with our award. Is there anything else that I can't help you with?" - Carmel in the GLS office.

In other news, my King Brian outfit and inflatable shamrock have finally arrived! Roll on St. Patrick's day 2007!

All a bit Irish

A few snaps that I'd kinda (no, really) forgotten about from St. Patrick's day.

I'm not sure if it's clear from the photos, but we'd just found a pair of shamrock zogabongs.

Begorra! It's Gash!

Tessie; all the way from Iherland.

Who's this svelte youngster? He looks like he's been in training for an upcoming running event.

Pooch Patronage

Shiner is my latest sugar daddy doggie, I took ten dog-dollars from his hound-handbag while he was a sleeping dog - let lie.

I'm up to €50 + D10 now.

My Premium Sponsors

Tom and Billy who've sponsored me for the Connemarathon on the 26th of March.

Thanks to Keith I'm running for some African dealie Bóthar. If anyone else wants to send on cash, feel free; no pressure, like.

4:17; this is that time

If you're knocking around at 4.anything in the evening (any evening!), have a goo at 4.17pm on the humanclock because I made it, and yes: I am great!!

Back to Lough Cutra

I was just passing Lough Cutra this evening, stopped to take a couple of snaps.

There's an island in the middle of the lake, looks just big enough for a big rave or something. Are raves a '90s thing, or do they still exist? Is going down the pub the new raving?

One Step Beyond

Is this the coolest thing you've ever seen? The guy's called Geoffrey Cottenceau, he's French (from France) and there's plenty more where that came from.

PS For lent I'm giving up dressing up as a load of animals.
